Excellent examples of my ability to communicate complex scientific topics, like coevolution, in an engaging and informative way would be my presentations to Science on Tap. I put together my work in the brewing industry and my knowledge of genetics to research the origins of human alcohol consumption for the talk, Evolution Under the Influence: Alcohol and the Coevolution of Humans and Yeast. Presented March 8, 2017 at the Kiggins Theater in Vancouver, WA and July 6, 2017 at the Clinton Street Theater in Portland, OR.
